While our club is mostly extra curricular, I thought that it might be interesting to know what everyone's studying. By that I mean major/minor and what language for the GEC stuff, or more?
I'm majoring in International Studies: Security and Intelligence, minoring in Arabic, and the language I'm taking here is (obviously, then) Arabic. I took two semesters of Japanese for post secondary stuff, my senior year, and I miss it so. Arabic's fun, too, though.

Right now I'm a declared Japanese major, but I intend on complimenting that with an International Business minor (or major depending on how everything goes). Recently though, I've developed a penchant for Anthropology. :D

I'm a japanese major, and I got to get my butt in gear and register for that Professional Writing minor. Don't ask me what I'm going to do with it; all I know is I want to translate.

I am an Art student. I've changed majors twice before; I was a Graphic Design student back home. My first quarter at OSU I was a Theater major and then I decided to change to Art/Photography. I've decided that if I am not accepted into the Arts program I am going to go for a language major in Japanese or Portuguese, cause being bilingual ain't enough!

Hey everyone! I am a Japanese major with a passionate love of Japanese history. I plan to get a history minor now while at OSU and persue a history degree and Japanese masters after OSU. Haha, funny thing is I am not a big fan of school! Japanese history is what got me into the language so I would really like to pursue the history aspect more after I learn the language. I think of the learning the language as a stepping stone to getting after what I really love. But I really do enjoy learning Japanese and all the fun cultural aspects of Japan too . The classes I have in the fall are Japanese 101,Japanese 654, Bio, and History 141. Fun stuff~ I would love to teach in Japan for a few years after OSU then get a specialized history degree in Japan (hopefully) and most likely come back here and teach Japanese history at a university. I would be up for translating too, since I could stay in sports and translate for the Japanese players coming into the league or in the manga/business end.

History 141? Because I'm only going into Japanese 101 haha. Love switching in late.

Ah, History 141 rather. I always associate it with some sort of Japanese history instead of East Asia all together. Lea is taking Japanese 101 though.
