Ok, so before I go to bed, let me share these fabulous links I found today while reading Japundit <3
www.hellokittyhell.com/ - This poor guy's wife is obsessed with Hello Kitty and he claims to live in Hello Kitty Hell. It's just a blog about the silly crap Sanrio puts out there. Real interesting, who knew Hello Kitty had a chapel!?
japundit.com/archives/2007/05/18/6009/ - An actual article on Japundit. The video is very moving and very well shot. Looks like someone put a camera in the conveyor belt on a sushi restaurant and we get to glimpse at each customer in the store as the camera goes around. Very beautiful.
japundit.com/archives/2007/05/15/6007/ - Another article. I thought this one was good cause some of us visited Bento Go-Go recently (not for the first time, but y'know...) I guess it touched a subject on how sushi sold in America might not be what we think it is? Well, maybe not. I'm too tired to really think of something, but read for yourself!
www.crunchyroll.com/showmedia?id=41413 - Cool video found at crunchyroll (seriously, Japanese TV is awesome). They're trying to replicate the series Densha Otoko, where an otaku saves a woman who's being harassed on a train and eventually these two people fall in love (at least this is how I've come to understand it). Well, these folk are trying to see how many actual akibakei will save a woman in need... see for yourself, the results are alarming. (The funny thing about this one is that the Densha Otoko is based on a -supposedly- real story, and everyone made a big deal about it...)
Well, I hope these entertain you a for a little while! They certainly kept me off the bed for a few more minutes tonight!
